Meet Yayah! An extraordinary Content Producer, Writer, aspiring Director, and the industry’s best kept secret. With 15 years of production experience under her belt, Yayah has made an indelible mark on South African television. Her impressive portfolio includes hit shows “Real Housewives of Cape Town,” SAFTA Award-winning docuseries “Kick-It,” and “Hashtags Africa.” Ayanda’s passion for storytelling extends beyond the screen; she’s also a social media brand builder, having created engaging online presence for Soweto TV, Mzansi Insider, and BET Buzz to name a few.
Yayah’s influence extends far beyond the entertainment industry. Dubbed “The Most Influential Young Woman In Television” by eNCA, Ayanda has used her platform to drive change. Through her non-profit organisation, Media Change Agents, she’s advocated for industry reform, ensuring freelancers receive fair compensation. Ayanda also advises the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture on creating a healthy filming environment.
When COVID-19 disrupted the production landscape, Ayanda seized the opportunity to expand her content marketing company, YCR Content.
